Sixteen was the moment 16 inch wear finally made sense to me. The 16 inch option stayed easy around my shoulders and did not dominate the whole style. The shorter length can look fuller because the wave sits higher.
Night was where I figured out what actually works for sleep comfort. Sleeping was easier once I gathered the loose hair without pulling the braids. A tight top bun created pressure overnight.
Evening is where I noticed the difference with black outfit contrast. I like using simple clothes when I want the hair color to be the focus. The brown stood out much more when I wore an all black outfit. 😊
Pattern was where I figured out what actually works for fulani braid framing. I keep the front pieces deliberate so the braid pattern still gets attention. A few ombre pieces near the front made the Fulani pattern show up better in photos.
Sections gave me a better read on brown pieces in twists than the first try did. Too much color in one twist looked heavy. I spread the warmer pieces across several sections instead of concentrating them in one area.
Twists gave me a real world test for twist integration. Larger pieces can make a twist look bulky at the root. I use smaller amounts near the hairline and fuller pieces in the back.

Baby, it looks like its growing from my scalp. I first did boho braids for 1 week. After that week, I reused the same exact hair to do a full install without having boho braids, just crochet in. I'm in love with my style.
