Braider was the moment crochet hook angle finally made sense to me. Going straight down caught more of my base than I wanted. I slide under the braid instead of poking through it. I ended up doing less than I thought I would need.
Rows made me pay more attention to back row spacing than I expected. Overpacking the back made drying take longer. I leave enough space for the hair to move and dry.
Protective made me realize how much protective routine changes the finished look. I keep the base clean and moisturized so the style stays comfortable. The style let me leave most of my own hair alone while still changing the look.
Coverage is where I noticed the difference with fullness after fluffing. The finished style became much fuller after separating the wave clumps. I would use the same approach again instead of adding more hair.
Movement made me realize how much hotel morning changes the finished look. A quick water refresh was enough to make the waves presentable before breakfast. I use the shower steam and a little moisture instead of starting over.
Portraits is where I noticed the difference with photos and social events. The mixed brown photographed with more dimension than a single flat color. I take one test photo before deciding whether the front needs more balance. 💕

Baby, it looks like its growing from my scalp. I first did boho braids for 1 week. After that week, I reused the same exact hair to do a full install without having boho braids, just crochet in. I'm in love with my style.
