Naturalhair made the small details around protective routine easier to notice. The style let me leave most of my own hair alone while still changing the look. I liked the result better once I stopped trying to make every section identical.
Wetlook is where I noticed the difference with wet dry shrinkage. The hair sat shorter once the waves fully dried than it did when stretched wet. Judging length while wet gave me the wrong expectation. 😍
Reuse gave me a better read on reuse after takedown than the first try did. I separate the reusable hair before washing and storing it. The better pieces were still worth saving once I removed them carefully.
Bedtime made the small details around sleep comfort easier to notice. A tight top bun created pressure overnight. I use a loose satin setup and keep the roots relaxed.

Baby, it looks like its growing from my scalp. I first did boho braids for 1 week. After that week, I reused the same exact hair to do a full install without having boho braids, just crochet in. I'm in love with my style.
