I didn't want thick sections sitting close to my temples. Lighter placement kept that area comfortable.
Usually my bathroom counter is covered in separated piles before I even start. This time I could get into the actual install much faster.
Weight was the moment scalp access finally made sense to me. Leaving enough space between rows made scalp care much easier. I would use the same approach again instead of adding more hair.
Care made me realize how much parting access changes the finished look. Leaving cleaner part lines made scalp care easier once the style was finished. Very dense placement can make it hard to reach the base later.
Volume gave me a better read on fullness after fluffing than the first try did. The finished style became much fuller after separating the wave clumps. I wait for the texture to dry and expand before adding density.
Outerlayer gave me a better read on week two texture than the first try did. By week two the hair looked less freshly installed and more lived in. I refreshed the visible pieces and left the rest alone.

Baby, it looks like its growing from my scalp. I first did boho braids for 1 week. After that week, I reused the same exact hair to do a full install without having boho braids, just crochet in. I'm in love with my style.
