I don't always think of these as a full extension install. Sometimes I literally use two pieces to fill an area that looks sparse and leave the rest in the drawer.
I used to jump around and then wonder why my placement felt uneven. Working from the nape upward gives me a much cleaner shape.
I got caught outside for a few minutes before I could get under cover. The hair wasn't soaked, but the light moisture made the waves a little softer. Once dry, it still looked fine.
On days when I want a little extra reassurance, I wear my wig grip underneath. I like having the option without changing how the hairstyle looks.
I noticed more tangling at the bottom when I wore a rough high-neck jacket all day. Now I pay more attention to what fabric the curls are rubbing against.
I like a fuller shape from behind but don't want too much around my face. Concentrating the extensions toward the back gives me exactly that.

Baby, it looks like its growing from my scalp. I first did boho braids for 1 week. After that week, I reused the same exact hair to do a full install without having boho braids, just crochet in. I'm in love with my style.
