It takes heat well, but I like the natural texture too much to press it every morning. A quick pass on the front is usually enough for me.
It's protective for most of my hair, but I remind myself that the front section is still exposed. I don't want convenience to turn into daily heat damage.
By day two, I started with my usual amount of gel and it was too shiny next to the kinky straight hair. Using half as much gave me a softer, more natural front.
The top looked bulky with a regular ponytail underneath. Switching to flat twists gave me a much cleaner transition at the crown.
Flat twists are my shortcut because cornrowing is not my strength. Two of them keep my hair low enough and take maybe five minutes.
The back blends into my crown nicely because there's enough hair there to cover the transition without teasing.

Daylight is where I trust my opinion of lace the most. The second wear looked much better than my first attempt. That made the whole look feel more natural on me.

Baby, it looks like its growing from my scalp. I first did boho braids for 1 week. After that week, I reused the same exact hair to do a full install without having boho braids, just crochet in. I'm in love with my style.
