Taking my time with the routine helped me understand how the lace and curls look under flash. Flash made the curls look shinier and the overall volume more obvious. I preferred a softer product finish so it did not reflect too much.
I planned my base first so the hair naturally falls to one side. That helped the finished style look intentional instead of random.
Stuffing long waves into a tiny bonnet crushed everything. Giving the hair room keeps the shape nicer overnight.
