I usually wear hair curved toward my face, so flipping these layers outward gave me a completely different look. It makes the butterfly shape stand out more.
I'm not the type to clip the hair into ten sections. I work on whatever piece looks like it needs attention, and the finished style still looks put together.
I tried installing these when my roots were super smooth and one row didn't feel as secure. Giving the section a little texture first worked better for me.
I started out wearing almost the full set for length, then realized I enjoy them even more as smaller volume pieces. That's what makes them useful to me��I don't have to wear them the same way every time.
I did more walking than I expected and got warm around my forehead. I checked the front afterward and only needed to press it back into place a little.
When everything was one length, I felt like most of the volume sat at the ends. Adding a little shape helped distribute the curls more evenly.

Baby, it looks like its growing from my scalp. I first did boho braids for 1 week. After that week, I reused the same exact hair to do a full install without having boho braids, just crochet in. I'm in love with my style.
