By the end of my wash cycle, the clips behave differently because my roots are more slippery. I use fewer pieces rather than trying to force the same install.

Sideareas needed the smaller wefts more than the back. Washing out product buildup made the hair feel lighter again. The hair still had movement several hours later.
Festivalday weather made the curls expand a little. I can run my hand over the top without immediately feeling a bulky ridge. Keeping the pieces loose in storage helped the curls keep their shape. Spreading the pieces out made the weight feel more balanced.
Danced for a while and the clips stayed put. The curl pattern has enough variation that it does not look too perfect or manufactured. A wide tooth comb worked better than a regular brush for me. The curls made my half up style look much fuller.
