Unless I used a lot of product or they genuinely feel dirty, I just refresh the curls between wears. That keeps me from over-handling the hair.
I didn't want to put heat on my own hair, so I stretched it overnight and blended the ends into the extensions. It gave me a softer, fuller look without a lot of manipulation.
I always look in the sink after the first few washes. I saw some strands, but nothing that made me feel like the wig was suddenly losing density.
I thought extra shine would make the curls look healthier, but I overdid it the first time. A tiny amount on the ends is plenty for me.
Sun made the texture look especially natural. I like having more placement options when I want volume around the whole head. The curls handled a little humidity better than I expected.
I diffused the extensions on low instead of waiting for them to dry completely on their own. The curls stayed grouped and had a little more lift.

Baby, it looks like its growing from my scalp. I first did boho braids for 1 week. After that week, I reused the same exact hair to do a full install without having boho braids, just crochet in. I'm in love with my style.
