Because the hair isn't silky straight, curling it gives me more of a salon roller-set finish than a polished synthetic-looking curl.
If I attack a knot from the top, I just tighten everything below it. Working upward slowly is much easier.
That's when I can easily separate or combine wave sections without fighting frizz.
I didn't want the loose hair to completely cover the actual braid style. Proper spacing lets both elements show.
Back-to-back wear worked because I stored the wig loosely. The nape needed a little moisture on the second morning, while the front remained presentable.
The way I wear it, the color gets attention without feeling loud. Someone at brunch asked what shade i was wearing.
