Full cheeks made me hesitant about a pixie, yet the height and curl direction gave my face structure. I liked the result more once I viewed it from a distance.
I curled one piece in the wrong direction and thought I had ruined the whole look. I let it cool, brushed it out and tried again. It recovered just fine.
I was nervous that a full crochet style would feel heavy on my scalp. Spacing the pieces properly made the finished style surprisingly comfortable.
