The maintenance isn't difficult, but I definitely can't rush through knots the way I would with straight hair. Working slowly keeps the curls in much better shape.
Daytime family festivities felt right with a gentle side part and moderate fluff. The curls looked festive in photos but still felt relaxed enough for helping in the kitchen.
Keeping a little volume at the back of my leave-out helped more than flattening everything down. The transition disappeared into the bob.
Fluffing made me pay more attention to fullness after fluffing than I expected. The finished style became much fuller after separating the wave clumps. The small adjustment mattered more than adding another product. 💕
