I wanted a style that felt younger and lighter but still appropriate for me. The layers gave me that refresh without making me feel like I was wearing somebody else's hairstyle.

The cap works well for me, but I wouldn't call 250% density the same experience as wearing a light bob. The fullness itself is something you feel.
If I get tired of curls, I can feature more of the straight pieces instead of buying an entirely new hairstyle.
