Before doing anything to the whole set, I wanted to know how the hair would react. Starting with one less-visible piece gave me more confidence.
Wearing all the bangs straight down made my face feel shorter. Sweeping some hair away from the center gives me a more open look.

When I want the original wave pattern to last longer, I stay away from a brush and just separate sections gently with my hands.
Making my natural hair bone straight actually made the difference more noticeable. A little texture at the root helps the Burmese curls look more believable on me.
