Super Cute half-wig. Easy to install for a novice. I did cut a few layers but I'm not a professional. Still turned out very pretty!

With a jacket on, I thought I'd need to remove some bulk around the sides, but once I wore it for a day the hair settled and looked much softer.
For blending, the color was close enough to my natural dark brown-black that I didn't see a hard line between my leave-out and the wig.
My leave-out gets softer when I'm hot, especially near the temples. I keep a small edge brush with me and that is usually enough.
Blowout-style fullness is what I like here. I barely touched the crown and still had a nice shape without teasing.

Protective made me realize how much protective routine changes the finished look. The style let me leave most of my own hair alone while still changing the look. Protective does not mean I can ignore my scalp.
