After several refreshes, my curls weren't moving the same way. Washing out the buildup brought the softness back.
With the longer length, a few strands can get trapped underneath my shoulder bag. Now I pull the hair forward first.
If you like really big, dramatic hair, you may want more volume than this gives straight away. I personally wanted something softer for everyday wear, so the density works for me.
