If you're expecting the exact wet-wave pattern to sit untouched for weeks, that's not realistic. Water and maintenance are part of the style.
Shorter curls near the top and longer ones underneath made the style look less like every piece ended at the same line.
I barely needed to touch the hair besides arranging the front pieces in the morning.
