Before bed, I just loosely gathered the curly pieces and covered my hair. In the morning, I separated a few strands with my fingers and was good to go. I actually like the fact that the curls don't need to look perfectly reset every day—the slightly tousled look is part of the charm.

I’m big on keeping my install area organized, and having the pieces already divided made that part much easier. I could lay out what I needed before starting instead of opening the hair and dealing with a big loose bundle. Small thing, but it made the whole process feel less chaotic.

I used the curly pieces mostly toward the ends of my braids instead of filling the whole style with them. That gave me a really cute statement at the bottom without making the top look too busy.

Sometimes I want my braids to look cute without looking like I spent three hours getting them perfect. These curls worked for that. I left a few pieces loose and uneven on purpose, and somehow that made the whole style look more relaxed instead of messy in a bad way.

I like that the curls don’t just hang there. They have a little lift at the roots and then loosen up toward the ends, which made my boho braids look way more layered. I only added a few pieces around the front and sides, and that was enough to change the whole style.

After taking my style down, I washed and conditioned the pieces before storing them. The hair kept its curl pattern, so I’m planning to reuse it for another protective style.
